Sick

I have a cold...or allergies...something that is making my eyes water and my nose run all day which results in me not having a voice. I called in sick at work today! I was telling my friends that I planned on calling in sick today and they all said something like "Yeah, do it! Your parents will never know..they're in Rome!" And I wasn't calling in sick because my parents weren't going to be at work...it really is because I feel disgusting. But you know, it is less likely that they would know...if I didn't tell them or anyone else at work when they returned. But what are the odds that Dad would call work today and ask to talk to me? I don't even know. But they told him I called in sick. And he called home to talk to me. So all of you who are wondering, Conchita and Dad made it safely across the ocean onto the boot-shaped country we call Italy. It sounded like they were having fun--I could hear Jack, another guy from work who was going on the trip, talking/yelling in the background.
Well, I guess that is all I have to say for now. I plan on taking some allergy medicine and see what it does to me. It will hopefully allow me to sleep.

<-- I believe Dad said they were walking to the Colosseum
