Jetta love
My brother Mike recently linked to an article about living a thrifty lifestyle while still getting what you want. In the article, the man wrote about wanting something because you tried it for a short time. i.e., I really want a VW Jetta now because I had a rental for two weeks. I was content with my car. It works and gets me places! But now I've indulged in one of my dream cars and feel like I can't look back. That car was perfection. Except for the fact that I can't get over the maintenance of VW cars. So unless Dave gets himself the VW Golf, Toureag or Eos of his dreams, I don't see one in my owning-of-a-car future. I'll stick with economy and function.

If you guys are debt free and make enough money to pay for it cash, get the car you want :) Buy anything you want! Otherwise things like new cars and debt can be a curse in your life. I'm feeling it six to eight years after my mistakes :(
