I ventured down to San José today to the Westfield Valley Fair mall, accidentally stumbling upon the Winchester Mystery House. Unfortunately I was alone and didn't feel that a trip to a local haunt was in order. I made my way into the enormous shopping center feeling overwhelmed and wanting to leave ASAP. I am a woman who loves to shop. But mall crowds and no clearance racks? I'm outta here. But then-- just around the corner-- a green and yellow sign catches my eye. A Lush Cosmetics store? Here? In San José?! Señor GoogleMaps didn't notify me of this!
I heard of Lush from the ladies on YouTube. The ones that got me into this whole makeup obsession. They always have huge "Lush Hauls," bringing home a TON of soaps, shampoos, bubble bars, massage bars, etc. I had never been in a store before and certainly didn't know how expensive anything was. The salesman helped me around the store and did a demonstration of their bubble bars. He even said, "Girls come in here all the time saying they want a demonstration because they heard about it on YouTube. Little teens demanding I show them how to use these things." (HA! I didn't tell him I was one of them. He offered to give a
demonstration, anyhow. Embarrassed and cracked me up all the same).
I walked out having spent too much money on a tub of shampoo ...and I, not-so-secretly, can't wait to use it!
