According to the calendar, Autumn is officially here. And, even though it hasn't arrived in California, I am welcoming this new season with open arms. A few leaves have turned & I'm excited to experience my first fall in (semi) Northern California. ...I can't wait for the day that I don't bake on the way to my car after work.
Here are some examples of why I love this beautiful season:
1. Falling Leaves (obvious? maybe.)
2. Pumpkin scents & flavors
3. Wearing huge sweatshirts while sipping on hot cider
4. Waking up to the sprinkles of rain
5. Coats, sweaters, scarves, thick fuzzy socks & leather
6. The possibility of retiring my every day worn-out Rainbow flip-flops
7. Family time
8. Visiting my parents & eating their meals cooked from the wood stove
9. Smoky Eyes
10. Weddings! I don't know anyone getting married this fall. But I hope to see photos of an outdoor autumn wedding.
