I'm not really up to much of interest besides school. Today I have been working on a project for my Theater310 class. It involves making a book. Initially, the project included us making a 10+ page book individually. After the fires, though, my teacher decided she wanted to make a book together to capture the emotions of the Firestorm of 2007. This class is geared toward those in Liberal Studies majors (elementary teaching). And our book is an Alphabet Book that will include words associated with the fires and also somehow related to Creative Drama with some activities on the back of each page. It seems kind of goofy to me, but it's turning out OK so far. There are 13 people in this class, which works out perfectly for the alphabet (13 x 2 = 26 letters). I was assigned C and P. And after brainstorming various words we all helped each other choose the words to use. Mine are "community" and "protect". And I put quotes on each page that I found. For community it is "What remains unscathed is a sense of community," which was part of a musical tribute to the fires put together by Z90 radio station in San Diego. Another quote I found wasn't directly related to the firestorm, but it works for the word "protect." The quote is, "Fire service people take care of the land and protect the resources." Nothing too profound... but it works out alright.
This week is busy. Tomorrow is a long day at school. Nothing too crazy, but hey, sometimes a complaint about a busy day is fine...yeah? Class starting at 9:30... 11:00... 3:30-6:10... except I am leaving the last one because we have another local high school band competition performance. I guess I'll just be having a 12 hour day. Then Wednesday I have a quiz in Shakespeare on Twelfth Night and off to Bakersfield for a few days. Actually, for a few hours... then to Fresno. Then back to Bakersfield for one day. And back to San Diego on Saturday morning for a football game on Saturday afternoon. Agh. Finals will be here soon enough. Then a nice long break and hopefully a job for next semester.

Happy Early Thankgsgisadfinvng!!
I told dad we'd likely be driving up Thursday morning. I'll volunteer right now to drive to pay you back for making you drive all those other times. You can get some sleepy sleep and maybe you can just go hang out with some friends on Wednesday night or something since I can't make it up to Fresno Wednesday. Are you going early morning shopping anywhere on Friday? I don't work until 3 pm on Friday so I'm thinking of hitting up some black Friday shopping.
shoot, you want to go Black Friday shopping?? In FresYes or Bako? I'd love to, so long as I get some friendtime in on Friday because that's my only day to hang out. Let me know. And answer your phone, boy!
Pleae allow plenty o' time for visiting the grandparents, kids.
And NEXT WEEK... your uncle will be in San Diego to give a talk at a convention. I need to buy you lunch or supper... do you have a car? I fly in Tuesday night, give a talk wednesday afternoon and another one thursday morning. Let me know when you're free...
