I just want to promote Feist even more. I don't know if I've mentioned Ms. Leslie Feist on blogger before, but I know I've been trying to get people to love her for a few years now. It all started with finding a random track on the computer at home called Mushaboom (which Michael probably put on there years ago). I was trying to find some songs to add to my 1g mp3 player and I instantly fell in love with that song. I asked for the CD soon after and I believe James bought it at work. Thank you. After that I fell in love with Gatekeeper, which was stuck in my head for many days while I slaved away working for the city two summers ago.
And now, her new CD The Reminder has been out since May 2007. With the release of the new iPods in September, she has finally been given some media light through Apple's commercial for the new iPod Nano.
And to prove she is pretty much amazing, she was on Jimmy Kimmel Live doing a set on a city bus. Watch it. She has a beautiful voice and pulls off a fantastic performance on the road! Because I am about 6+ months shy of 21, I cannot go to Feist's show in San Diego this weekend. I'll have to settle for youtube videos like this one.
And not related to this topic at all, I just finished a bit of frozen yogurt from Golden Spoon. I don't know how many locations they actually have, but I do wish there was one in Bakersfield. A friend of a friend works at one of the San Diego locations and gave me two "Free 8oz. with 8 stamps" things, so my roommate May and I went. The flavor I chose: Pumpkin! Ah, what a great way to bring in November with the real taste of Autumn. What are you doing to welcome Thanksgiving and Christmas?
P.S. Another good song that has come out recently because of commercials is The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson which was shown on an Old Navy commercial. It's sweet and she has a strong voice, too.

I love the Feist commercial.
Feist has a catchy song/tune. I have her on a Pandora list. Sweet, as MPW would say.
