Needs.

One fact about myself I always knew, but has been reinforced since being away from 'home,' is that I do not like buying things I need. This fact possibly exposes my greed. I'd much rather go shopping for a blouse I don't need or didn't want before, than go to my nearby Vons or Albertson's and pick up a loaf of bread, carton of eggs and milk. Purchasing food has always just been one of those things I despised. And now I find myself having to do it weekly, if not more. Where does it all go!? Well, you know where it goes...

I'm watching Oprah right now and Dr. Oz and Bob Greene are on... talking about health, organs, nutrients, etc. Bob Greene is her nutritionist(?) and she mentioned how she opens her fridge and says, "where did all this soy milk come from!?"
I wish I could open my fridge to things I needed without having to worry about it.

C'est la vie.

In other news, band is fun... as always! :)

In the Air

I'll take whatever is in the air. Meaning, I will use wireless internet and use my bunny ears to get free television. However, this almost fool-proof plan has backfired. While I have been in San Diego happily using these services for a month now, the internet decided to stop working yesterday morning. Oh, "Belkin45" wireless internet, why did you decide to stop allowing me to use your Network Key-free waves?? Last night there was a tease. A name showed up, "default," that allowed my roommate and I to sink into the depths of the internet for an hour or two. Then, out of nowhere, GONE. Disappeared!! I watched some TV after that, read some for class, then went to bed. This morning I woke up, hopeful that somehow this problem would be fixed. No. My computer, and my roommate's say that we have a full connection with so-called Belkin. But nothing works.

So now I sit at the bottom of the Library Dome. Writing this blog for all of you to see.

Time for class.

IKEA

What would I do without Ikea? I wouldn't have any furniture. I know that's all I have been talking about lately, but it is what's on my mind. As of today, I have a bed! Well, I have a frame for a bed. Still sleeping on an air mattress. But that's totally okay with me. I can't even tell...mostly. I just wanted to be off the floor! And now I am.

Today I paid for rent for the first time (besides move-in day). All I did was fill out a check and put it in a box in the leasing office. Simple, hm. There goes some more money.

My roommate left for the weekend already. She came last Friday. And now with this three-day weekend, I am alone in the apartment again. Oh well, that's fine with me. I just wish there was something to do...

That's enough for now. This wasn't much of an update anyway..
